Do you take reservations?
No, we do not take reservations. Seating is first come, first served. If there happens to be a wait upon arrival, the door team will take your name and number and will contact you when seats become available. We are able to accommodate walk-in groups of up to 8 people.
If I arrive earlier than the rest of my party, can I be seated right away?
We kindly ask that the whole party be present before we can bring you to your table.
Do I have to be 21 to enter? Do I need to bring an ID?
You must be at least 21 years old to enter. All guests will be carded by our door team. Please have a valid, unexpired ID ready upon arrival.
Do you serve food?
We have a limited bar snacks menu, which is served Thursday to Saturday from 6 to 11pm.
Where are you located?
We are a few steps from the corner of 14th and U streets NW at 2009 14th St NW Washington, DC. We are located right next door to Marvin.
What is the closest metro station?
The nearest metro station is the U Street /African-American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo stop on the Green and Yellow lines. When you leave from the 13th St and U St exit, with the stop on your left, walk toward 14th St on U St. Turn right on 14th St and we will be a few businesses up on your right.
What are my parking options?
During the week there is limited street parking available in the immediate area. Parking is extremely limited during the weekend and using public transportation, cab, or car service is strongly suggested.
When is your happy hour and what specials do you offer?
At this time, we do not offer any happy hours deals. Please visit our Instagram account @thegibsondc for any seasonal specials we may offer.

What spaces are available for private events?
We can accommodate many different types of events and have multiple spaces. We frequently host cocktail parties, weddings and receptions, corporate parties, and more. Please reach out to our events coordinator at email@example.com for more information. Please include the date, time, and size of your event. We will get back to you as soon as possible with information regarding availability and pricing.
I've lost an item or left/forgot my credit card. Who can I contact to see if you've found it?
